Matti Reinikainen

Principal Scientist

I started my career at VTT in 1987 and have been working with Fischer-Tropsch and other related syntheses ever since. This subject took me also two times to Japan where I studied catalysts, their preparation methods and characterization. This co-operation continued in Finland where I hosted visiting Japanese research scientists. In 1998, I completed my doctor’s thesis on cobalt-catalyzed Fischer-Tropsch-reaction. I bring to this project my long experience in heterogeneous catalysis as well in bench-scale development work and piloting. I am eagerly looking forward to the demonstration of the whole SOLETAIR-concept. The experiences gained provide valuable insight also into other applications.
