Jere Elfving

Research Scientist

I started my master’s thesis in 2015 at VTT, and have been working with CO2 capture since. I graduated as a chemical engineer (M.Sc.) from Lappeenranta University of Technology at the end of 2015. Currently I’m studying ways to reduce the energy requirement of the direct air capture process as a part of my D.Sc. studies. My work includes studying the CO2 capture in the chemical phenomenon scale as well as in the process scale. I provide my results and vision to the SOLETAIR project to enable the integration of direct air capture with the electrolysis and synthesis processes.
